Frequently asked questions

Are photos uploaded to a server?

No. Selected photos are processed inside your current browser.

What happens to location and camera metadata?

Photos can contain GPS coordinates, capture time and device model. This tool redraws pixels onto a new canvas and re-encodes them, so EXIF, GPS and XMP metadata from the original is not copied into results.

How many photos can I process at once?

Up to 30 photos per run, with a 50 MB limit per file, 200 MB total and 40 megapixels per image.

Will quality or colors change?

Yes, slightly. JPEG and WebP are re-compressed at your chosen quality, and colors may shift marginally during re-encoding.
